AZURITE ESSENCE

GEOLOGICAL : - Azurite is a blue, copper based stone, named after its azure - blue color. It has a hardness of 3.5 - 4 and due to its low hardness was mainly used for ornamental objects. It is found in Australia, Chile, Russia, France and the U.S.A. and may be confused with many blue stones, especially Lapis Lazuli and Sodalite.
MYTHOLOGICAL : - Historically Azurite is referred to as the stone of wisdom. The priests and priestesses of ancient Egypt used Azurite to enhance their spiritual wisdom. It is also said to be the stone used for general healing in Atlantis.
HEALING :- Azurite is a stone for highly evolved souls. Azurite essence can open the gates of cosmic truth and reveal to its user the essential purposes of their life. It assists psychic development, however its effects last a limited time as slowly this royal blue stone changes to another mineral - the bright green Malachite.
Edgar Cayce speaks of its ability to gain mental control and easily reach a meditative state, as many of the goals of meditation are mirrored in the uses and healing properties of Azurite. Azurite essence can assist you release the past and accept and anticipate the future gracefully. It cultivates the ability to reach into the subconscious and examine states of the mind objectively.
It enhances the flow of energy through the nervous system (due to its copper content). Azurite assists the spleen, thyroid, skin and bones - particularly bone calcification. It facilitates clear meditation, initiates transformation and stimulates inspiration, whilst cleansing the mental body.
Azurite essence hallmark is harmony and encouragement of the qualities of sympathy and tenderness in all forms. Assisting its user to be gentle, patient, kind and peaceful. Thus it can assist the physical healer when his/her patients ailment is caused through disappointment, aggression or hate. Azurite essence seems to operate almost entirely on the spiritual level alone
Azurite essence works to assist a general expansion of awareness and consciousness, and those in the line of healing, find their natural healing abilities enhanced through its use. 7-21 drops in a bath, have been found excellent for easing mental depression and disorientation.
If you find yourself in a position of influence and/or power, Azurite can assist you in becoming aware of your responsibilities and accepting them gracefully. This allows you also to learn and grow through your interactions with others. Azurite frees the channels its user may fear or need to work through. These fears may well be associated with the fear of leadership, of psychic discovery and awareness and many other levels of new growth, in particular it can complete the opening of the ‘third eye.'
When energies are coming to you from another that you feel are not entirely beneficial for you, Azurite may be used to transfer the energy of positive and negative vibrations from its manipulator back to them, or in the case of positive vibrations, to another person. Azurite may be used anywhere on the body, yet it seems especially helpful with the mind and mental processes, helping the body to utilise oxygen and strengthen blood.
It is excellent for use in meditation or clinical hypnotherapy for those who wish to tap into other galaxies, planets, past lives or other life forms on these planets.
I recently discovered another use for Azurite. Having come down with a severe case of laryngitis, I was resting in bed, pondering all manner of reasons as to why I may have contracted this illness which prevented me from even squeaking, let alone talking, particularly as I was mid semester teaching classes. I decided I may as well utilise my ‘quiet’ time and jot down some more experiences from the mineral kingdom. Holding each gem in turn to tune in to their energy, I picked up the Azurite and found myself not wanting to put it down. I felt drawn to placing it directly over my throat, so laying back (and hoping no one would come in as I looked rather odd to say the least, with this huge hunk of rock precariously balanced on my throat) I rested. Immediately I was aware of what felt like a spiral of energy flowing up and down the sore area of my throat. In a way it felt as though a warm flush of water was cleansing the entire area. Removing the stone, the feeling vanished and placing it back on, it returned. As I was immensely enjoying the experience I stayed there for a good 15 - 20 minutes with the Azurite balancing on my throat, before falling into a deep sleep. I awoke the next day and not expecting to have any voice didn’t even attempt to speak all day, until the afternoon when the phone rang and without thinking I answered it. My voice was extremely croaky, yet it worked ! I decided to teach the class we had scheduled for that evening and much to my surprise, as it had tended to get worse the more I spoke, as I taught it improved by the minute. Even my students were amazed as every word I spoke became clearer and clearer. The next day, I was back to no voice, so entering the clinic I had a good dose of Azurite essence and once again the concern cleared up over the next hour.
Azurite has an affinity with Sagittarians.
