Day 2 - Sept 20th : XIAN - LIJIANG      We transfer to the airport & board our flight to Lijiang. As we descend you may observe that we are entering into a caldera - a valley of mountainous ranges & lush countryside. You will feel you have arrived  in not only another land, but also another time. Our local guide will collect us. Travel lightly as cars & bicycles are not permitted into the old city, so luggage in tow our adventure into this quaint city begin. Following waterways along cobblestone streets & narrow winding lanes, filled with 1000’s of gorgeous shops, we are escorted to our charming guest house. A brief freshen up & we are off on a walking tour. Your senses will be amazed as you are transported to the cutest city ever. Day 3 - Sept 21^st: LIJIANG       A truly special day, we travel by bus to the sacred Jade Dragon Snow Mountain (more than 5500metres above sea), our journey continues by cable car and then shuttle bus up to spruce mountain (a richly romantic & desperate location with the most lovely energies). Many beautiful photo opportunities - make sure you bring your camera today - you could be in the European alps! 

Have a yak ride! Now there is something to talk about! After a delicious local lunch, the theatre! Think you have seen it all, how about an outdoor theatre under the mountain with 600 performers choreographed by the Beijing Olympics team. I was moved to tears for most of the show. I cannot describe truly how breathtaking this show is (& I go to the theatre a lot) - google images Impression Lijiang & take a look! You are then invited to be blessed by the Shamans & offer your dreams & wishes into the burning caldron to be carried to the sacred mountain.

 Day 4 - Sept 22^nd : LIJIANG      A peaceful and charming day, we visit Jade Spring Park, where the locals believe they can awaken dragons in the lake if they yell at it (bubbles do come up if you are loud -ooooh!). By bicycle or rickshaw - on to Shuhe - an ancient neighbouring village, filled with waterways (used as refrigerators). Delicious to walk around (like you are in a storybook), amazing sights, sounds, smells & YOU may well end up being the locals attraction as we dine in a flintstones café.  Day 5 - Sept 23^rd  : LIJIANG     Today is yours to enjoy, after a local breakfast you are free to enjoy at your leisure the remainder of the day, you may read, relax, sunbake, take a massage or a facial treatment , shop, hire a bicycle & revisit the countryside or book a tour with many of the local operators. Lesley will be happy to take you to visit some fascinating temples & have evening drinks overlooking the sights of the city from on high. Inc: Accom, BF

 Day 6 (Lijiang Tour / Day 1 Qi Gong Tour)  - Sept 24^th  : LIJIANG - XIAN

After a peaceful morning in Lijiang, we bid a fond farewell & return by air to Xian. Our wonderful Qi Gong Healing retreat group arrives tonight in Xian & we will all share a wonderful few days together.  Day 7 (Lijiang Tour / Day 2 Qi Gong Tour) - Sept 25^th  : XIAN

A culturally delightful day, after a fabulous breakfast we depart with our local guide for the famous terracotta warriors. Be enthralled by their tales & mysteries, immerse yourself in the 360 degree theatre re enactment of the times & this ancient history.  Lovely local lunch then time to heal – on to a Chinese medical hospital where we will witness various forms of natural treatment & healing, even the opportunity for you to have a private consultation with a practitioner if desired.  Day 8 (Lijiang Tour / Day 3 Qi Gong Tour) - Sept 26^th  : XIAN

Today we have special permission to ride bicycles around the top of the great wall that surrounds the city (don’t worry it is quite wide & paved). Get a birds eye view of the city below.

Visit the Great Mosque and Wild Goose Pagoda (a sacred temple where you can make offerings to the gods). A wet experience awaits with the famous dancing water fountains - amazing!  Day 9 (Lijiang Tour / Day 4 Qi Gong Tour) - Sept 26^th  : XIAN

Our Lijiang tour concludes today, transfer to airport / onwards personal journeys or the continuation of the Qi Gong Training Tour.  Not Inc: transfers (to enable group to check out at different times)

 TOUR ITINERARY  Xian Qi Gong Healing Retreat Sept’ 24-1^st Oct’ 2009

XIAN QI GONG HEALING RETREAT You will be transported to a dedicated Qi Gong training centre operated by a Qi Gong Master. You will live there and spend 9 days in training, although the pace will be taking into consideration time for reflection, rest (2 hour nap time after lunch included) and healing. Each day you will be treated to a personal healing / energy attunement and a training class, Qi Gong exercises & training will be conducted throughout the 9 days. 

Some people will join us viewing the tour as a retreat to rejuvenate, others as students of Qi Gong, others because they have illnesses that need healing - all are most welcome, so what ever your goal for joining us - we will share a wonderful 9 days together.

 Tour includes all accommodation, meals, full Qi Gong & energy healing training with 2-5 We will be organizing AM Qi Gong & evening discussions whenever possible. The schedule of events here is subject to changes & more events may be added

Day 4, 5, 6 - Sept 26^th - 29th : XIAN     After a lovely breakfast we journey to our lovely Qi Gong Training centre for the commencement of the Qi Gong Training Tour, Qi Gong Training Intensive  Inc: Accom BF, Lunch, Dinner, Personal & Group Training, Lectures, Guest teachers, Discussions & Healings

 The general time arrangement in our centre:    Practise Qigong 1 hour from  6:30-7:30;am breakfast 7:40-8; Free time from  8:00-12:00 (students can practise by themself , teacher can assist with personal development according to the individual, eg, some practitioners need guidance, others will illnesses such as cancer need special treatments)  Lunch 12:10 -12:40;         Nap at 1:00-3:00;pm Practise Qigong from 3:15-5:15;            Have supper at 5:30-6:00pam   Free time from 6:00-8:00 in the evening;                          Practise Qigong from 8:00-9:00 on the night.  We will have different kind of meetings each day in the afternoon, - eg- the topic may be how to practise Qigong, what is the core of the Qigong, what is it Zhineng Qigong, how to heal sickness by Qigong, how to develop Qigong, Qigong healing for the world, each day has different topic. We may invite some very special Qigong teachers to join us. Some Hainan students may remember Wei - he will be joining us here with some fellow teachers for our stay. We aim to arouse each person's enthusiasm, which lets each person participate with the discussions. Qigong is not solely practicing the movement, more essential is comprehending & developing what is known as Qi Gong thinking, It has more effect often through the exchange of the ideas than in the information alone. You may discover a whole new you.

Day 7 - Sept- 30^th  : XIAN           - Mt HUA SHAN A very special experience as we visit the sacred Mountain Hua Shan (Mountain Hua & the West Mountain Temple. We travel through mountainous ranges & breathtaking scenery to continue on by cable car to an inspiring lookout. Temples exist on top of the mountain and the choice is yours – there are feng shui lucky sites for blessings, wealth, long life & more. Continue your climb or enjoy the shop perched above the mountain. You will be guided in a sacred connection ceremony & receive strong spiritual attunements if desired.

Inc: Accom BF, Lunch, Dinner, Local Guide, Entrance fee to Mountain Hua & the West Mountain Temple; two-way cable car ride,  transportation, Qi Techniques, Meditation & Attunements to one of the most sacred Chinese Mountains.

 Day 8 - Sept 31^st : XIAN - Qi Gong Training Intensive at the centre, attunements, healing, practice

 Day 9 - Oct 1^st : XIAN  Our Qi Gong Training concludes, fond farewells, many blessings, perhaps even some life time friends before you transfer to the airport for the journey home (enriched by your healings, energy blessings & personal transformations & awakenings) or onward to another fascinating adventure.

 We aim to share with healers, those who are interested in energising themselves & those that are in need of healing. All ages & fitness levels are welcome.            We will be meeting locals personally & may have the opportunity to spend time with them. Whilst we will still be sightseeing, studying & of course shopping; the emphasis is on providing a rich cultural (unforgettable) healing  experience in this fascinating location. Participation is open to all (Some Qi Gong study is preferred yet not essential – DVD’s are available for study prior to departure).

OPTIONAL EXTRA TRAVELS: At the beginning or after the completion of the tour you have a few options. You can: fly directly home, stay in Xian for a few more days, take the train to Beijing, Guilin, Hong Kong or many other exciting destinations (we can assist you to arrange this), you will just need to allow enough time to complete your travels before your homeward flight. Remember when booking your international flights to Xian that most airlines will allow a free stop over in their home base. Eg: Singapore airlines = Singapore, Cathay = Hong Kong, Thai = Bangkok, choose your airline depending on costs and the stop over you most desire.

INTERNATIONAL FLIGHTS: We often organise a  group bookings with flight centre which will ensure 1. You get your flights at a good price & 2. We are all travelling together. Tour Conditions of Reservation

Please feel free to take a copy of this contract for your own records - we require the original prior to departure.

Important note - Any travel through Asian or 3rd world countries must be recognised that travel is still in its infancy in these countries. The youthfulness that is imparted to tourism may be some of the great appeal of such places. It is important to note that the levels of service and standards in some areas, whilst striving to do their best are not as yet comparable to more mature travel destinations.

In any country there is always the possibility that circumstances beyond our control may necessitate some changes to your programme. If you are able to be patient and tolerant in such circumstances, your holiday will be a truly rewarding experience.

 DEPOSITS & BALANCE - A deposit of $400.00 (non refundable at any stage) is required upon confirmation of your booking for each tour. The entire balance is due 90 days prior to departure. Failure to pay in full by the due date may result in the automatic cancellation of your booking. Once a deposit is received it is understood that you have agreed to the conditions of booking. 

EXCHANGE RATE FLUCTUATIONS - Due to the instability of the Australian dollar, regrettably currency surcharges may be necessary. Due to the nature of our tour (where some aspects cannot be prepaid by us prior to departure) These surcharges may fall during the tour. In such a circumstance, you will be given 7 days grace in which to pay them. 

INSURANCE - Insurance is not included in the cost of your tour. We recommend Aussie Travel cover & can provide forms for them, or your travel agent can assist you with this. It is a condition of joining the tour that you have current travel insurance. (You should be adequately covered for the duration of your travel. You are strongly recommended to take out insurance at the time of making any bookings).

 CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS - Cancellation must be received in writing and will be subject to the following cancellation fees applied per person, per arrangement. More than 60 days prior to departure - full deposit; between 60 and 30 days prior to departure - 25% or $600.00 (which ever is the greater). 30 days or less prior to departure - 100%. Cancellation of international / Domestic air arrangements will be dependant on the booking made with the airline and the airline itself.

 PAYMENTS - Can be made via Cash, Cheque, Money Order or Direct Deposit to our Commonwealth Bank Account. Credit cards may be used (BC / MC / Visa) however they will attract a 3% processing fee. Cheques must be cleared before a booking can be considered firm.

 RESPONSIBILITY - Renascent & The International College of Intuitive Sciences give notice that we act as agents only for persons or companies providing or offering the means of transport, travel conveyance, accommodation or other services and all receipts, tickets, vouchers, coupons are issued subject to the terms and conditions under which transportation and services are offered. Some of these suppliers or providers limit or exclude their liability and are often subject to international convention between countries. All possible care is taken to ensure suppliers maintain high standards. However, as we do not control the airlines, car suppliers, restaurants or hotels, we cannot be responsible in any way for problems resulting from the booking, how so ever arising, unless it is a direct result of negligence on our part. Any liability on Renascent or The International College of Intuitive Sciences part shall be limited to a maximum of the tour cost, subject to these conditions. Renascent & The International College of Intuitive Sciences cannot accept responsibility over any of your tour arrangements affected over matters which Renascent & The International College of Intuitive Sciences has no control, including without limitation, war or threat of war, riots, civil strife, terrorist activity, malicious damage, sabotage, natural disaster, weather conditions, fire, flood, explosions, drought, industrial disputes or government action, or infrastructure failures or reasonable apprehension of the foregoing cancellation, curtailment or rescheduling of flights (together and individually called "Force Majeure Event").

Renascent & The International College of Intuitive Sciences will do everything possible to ensure the smooth scheduling of your selected tour but must reserve its rights upon the occurrence of a Force Majeure Event.

 DOCUMENTS - Tour documents, welcome kits will be issued after final payment has been received and are normally sent out 2-3 weeks prior to departure.

 AIRLINE - Renascent & The International College of Intuitive Sciences do not represent themselves as contracting with any airline or other travel agency nor do we have any other legal relationship with them.

 CHANGES - We reserve the right to alter any aspect of this tour as deemed necessary by us including hotel bookings, We will always strive for quality and this ensures that should a hotel not be meeting its specifications we can move the entire group to a more appropriate hotel. It also allows the right to amend tour content should we feel it necessary. Our choices will always be with the best intentions for ourselves and the group as a whole.
