What do I get on this tour that makes it so special?: A once only
opportunity: Lesley Mitchell (one of your
tour leaders) lived in Indonesia & Malaysia for 6 years and has a passion, deep
respect & love for the culture, the mysteries and the esoteric aspects of this island
& its people. We will share with you visits, teachings & experiences of many
impossible situations. Sekala (the seen) and Niskala (the unseen). In many ways, these tours are given to the participants as
spiritual gifts by Lesley & Daryll. The costs are worked out just to cover expenses on
minimum numbers, hence you are receiving great value for money. We stay in the most
amazing places & accomodation. It is my experience that if you were to shop around a
lot on the internet you may find a similar tour at a similar cost, but if you checked
where they were staying & what you were getting, you would find a vast difference in
the quality. From personal experience, if you were to take this tour independantly,
visiting & staying at the same places, I would be most surprised if you could do it
for the same price. $s aside, all the teachings given on this tour are given as a
gift to you with no charge what so ever, hence you receive valuable skills as a completely
free gift. In many cases (having already visited personally every location) we know great
local sights, restaurants & have terrific contacts. Daryll & Lesley (along with
their young son) will personally join you on any tour for the duration of the tour. You
are free to chat, ask questions & draw on their experiences & wealth of knowledge,
they both have strong spiritual understandings that they will share with you over the
duration of the tour - should you like. You also will never be anywhere without a direct
contact & someone you know. You will have invitations to meet spiritual masters in
different areas that you would usually never have the opportunity to do otherwise. We
throw in many extras (from welcome gifts to fun nights) that make these tours
enlightening, enriching, fascinating & above all - fun. We know all the things that
make a day more enjoyable, even if it is just a stop at the local shop for an iced
chocolate on a hot day on your way back & do our best to make your experience
fabulous.

A personal note
sent out in an email to our students & friends
Hi, We are really looking
forward to this journey. Although it seems the world has gone a bit crazy in regards to
travel lately, we genuinely feel this tour is blessed & "meant" to go ahead.
In regards to terrorism, naturally this can occur any where, however terrorists would be
pretty hard pressed (in my opinion) to find a great deal to blow up in Borneo. The resorts
are quite remote & high rise virtually non existent.
In regards to SARS, as the journey is still nearly a year away, we
are certain most of that issue will have ended well before we depart.
I find it most interesting when we receive "messages" guiding us
to take certain tours, regarding their outcomes. Eg - we were advised to cancel the Bali
tour (prior to taking a single booking) due to unrest - had it gone ahead we would have
arrived 2 days before the bombing. We were advised to bring the China tour forward to Oct'
2002, (again before the 1st booking had been taken), rather than May 2003 with the message
"if it is not brought forward it will not happen at all". As it was in May 2003
SARS broke out the week prior to our scheduled departure and all tourist destinations
closed down.
When I ask about Borneo, I am told "yes, it is meant to happen & it
is indeed a very special journey for those involved". As we have already taken
definite bookings for Borneo I feel it will be a terrific journey. We may have a smaller
group than expected, due to travel concerns, however, I strongly feel those that feel
right to join us will be divinely chosen and have an amazing tour.
I have a really special place in my heart for Borneo, the people, the
energies, the uncharted jungles, the food & the lifestyle. Not to mention the
importance this place has in all Australian history, due to the atrocities committed at
the hands of the Japanese long ago. (OK, the mocktails on the 3 km white sandy beach
watching the sun set are pretty nice too)!!
If anything about this journey stirs your interest (take a look at the
images on the website), contact me for more info' & get definite bookings in ASAP to
ensure we achieve minimum numbers for the tour to actually continue.
As we are not receiving any 'messages' regarding future tours, this may well
be the last tour we take (although who knows what the future holds). The entire tour is
run at cost & we stay in the most gorgeous locations (take a look at the accom'
section & look them up on the internet if you like). I really hope you may be
interested in joining us or if you are chatting to someone & feel compelled to tell
them about this journey, please do so, spirit often works in interesting ways to get the
message across to the correct person.
If you would like a paper itinerary we can post a copy out to you.
Have a wonderful day, with kind regards & blessings,
Lesley (& Daryll) Mitchell
A further (later)
note sent out regarding the tour:
Hi,
A very brief note, from this cold part of Melb'. I've been working away lately
(nesting into house renovations at the moment - bare foot, pregnant & up to my knees
in tiling grout lately!) Anyway, as you could imagine, my thoughts have wandered regularly
to the most exquisite beaches of Borneo. I enjoyed my time there so thoroughly & I am
really looking forward to the tour there in May 2004. We will share so many wonderful
experiences together and I don't think there one single day there without some highlight I
am looking forward to.
However, we are needing to wrap up minimum booking numbers within the next 6 weeks
so I can finalise all details before my (very brief but no doubt busy) maternity leave.
(We had a little girl - Emma on
October 15th - all are well & thriving)
(We have now received min' bookings numbers & the tour
will continue as organised)
It is an amazing opportunity as the
tour will be conducted at cost, the teachings are all given as a gift to you (they would
usually be around $540pp). We are waiving the prerequisite course, yet strongly
recommending it, so any one can attend. I've been looking around at tours that go to
similar areas we are covering and they are around the same price as ours, but ...... they
definitely DO NOT stay at the gorgeous hotels & places we will be staying at.
Anyway, I'd like to see the tour go ahead, but what's meant to be - as they say!
If you have been thinking that perhaps there is something here that tweaks your attention,
get in today, call me & make a booking, What have you got to lose but perhaps that
white winter skin & the stress of day to day life, especially as we sit sipping
lemonade (or what ever you like) watching the sun set on a white 5 mile beach over the Sth
China seas.
Some people have said they will wait & see if the tour goes ahead & if they are
meant to be there they will make a last minute booking. I'm reminded of a joke I was told,
it goes something like this.
(Brief version)
"A man was ship wrecked and cast adrift at sea. He prayed to God to save him and
presently a shipping boat came by, they tossed him a rope & told him to pull himself
aboard. He replies 'no, God is my savior, I put my trust in him, he will save me'. So off
the boat goes. Shortly a rescue boat appears and as they attempt to drag the man aboard he
calls out 'no, God is my savior, I put my trust in him, he will save me'. So off they go.
Hours drag on and finally a helicopter arrives, throws down a ladder and calls to him, he
says 'no, God is my savior, I put my trust in him, he will save me'. So the helicopter
goes away and ............ the man drowns!
At the pearly gates he meets God and says 'I don't understand, I put all my faith in you
and you have forsaken me, why didn't you help me?'
God looks at the man and says 'For goodness sakes, I sent you a shipping boat, a rescue
craft & a helicopter, what more did you want?'
I often think, perhaps we wait
& see a little too much, perhaps God (spirit, Buddha, etc) send you notes, messages
& assistance on a daily basis & it is up to us to recognise the gift we are being
given.
Perhaps, this tour is not right for you at this time, or perhaps - just maybe, you've
worked really hard in your life & God is sending you a gift! Up to you to decide. (I
just know, we don't get offers of overseas tours at cost, with dedicated leaders, a great
group & free teachings that come up too often)! (So, why are we doing this, what
do Daryll & I get out of this tour - absolutely nothing materialistically, in fact we
need to take time off work - unpaid - to be with the group, however, we both have a strong
spiritual calling and do our very best to offer good deeds and accredit good merit through
our work with people. We love these groups, we watch people transform and take home
memories that last a lifetime, we develop beautiful friendships & generally at the end
we get a few days in a beautiful location with our family) Perhaps, we may share with you
in the future.
Either way, we wish you all the very best in your life & if this email has
brought a smile to your face or a lovely picture (of the beach or otherwise) into your
day, then it has been successful.
May your heart be warm & your thoughts be happy,
With kindest regards & blessings,
Lesley
