OFTEN EVEN WHEN READING THE SOAP INGREDIENT LABELS - They look the same. However ingredients may be listed as the same & same order, yet not be the same quantity. For example Palm oil is relatively cheap, yet quite harsh on the skin. 2 soaps may list it as their first ingredient, yet 1 may have a far higher ratio of palm oil to other oils making it a cheaper (& inferior) product. water (aqua), propylene glycol (food grade preservative), sodium stearate (the sodium salt of stearic acid), glycerine (Humectant & Moisturiser), sucrose (form of sugar), sodium laureate (derived from Coconut Oil), sorbitol (a sugar alcohol), sodium laureth sulfate (a naturally derived surfactant from coconut oil), sodium chloride (Carrier, thickener), stearic acid (emulsifying agent), lauric acid (unsaturated fatty acid found in milk, coconut), pentasodium pentetate (water softener), tetrasodium etidronate (water softener in soaps to prevent soap scums and bathtub rings).
