You are also able to dowse for where a persons energy fields (aura) begins and for their personal space. People tune their rods to discover where there is water, to find lost keys and explore energy lines in the room - all with astounding results. The possibilities are endless as to what we can discover,

A sprung steel rod can be used to weave a path all around the body effectively pinpointing exact emotions of the person that is being dowsed. Keep in mind the thought that you are "looking for the edge of the aura" and this is exactly what the rod will show. In some places the energy will be smooth and gently flowing, in others, jagged and may turn abruptly. An experienced dowser knows how the energy flows in each part of the body and what emotions that part of the body represents, they will be able to determine fairly effectively what the person is feeling and how their emotions are responding as well as how adequately the energy system for each organ is flowing. This is the learned part of the interpretation, the other way of determining the emotions is by what you feel as you move around the persons body.

As you near the back you may discover energy ‘spikes' jutting out like a porcupine. The rod may bounce in and out very severely as if it was following these spikes. This phenomenon is very normal in all people. We often do not feel comfortable when someone is behind our back and we cannot see what they are doing, we feel a little threatened by their presence and so on an energy level we put out these ‘spikes' to assist in our protection. Even though they cannot be physically seen, they are quite able to be felt, although only the most sensitive person would perhaps know where they are coming from. These spikes feel a little ‘prickly' and uncomfortable and in being aware of them I have watched many people move away from them. Of course they are unaware as to why they are moving, simply that they feel "a little awkward or uncomfortable there and a little more comfortable here".
